In February, the Foresight Future of Cities project produced The Future City exhibition in an attempt to share some of its emerging thinking with a wider public and professional audience.
'A Visual History of the Future' examines how future cities have been visualised over the last 100 years, and considers what these depictions sought to communicate and why.
"I can tell it’s a nice area because it’s the kind of place where you can see children cycling to school in the morning." This was the recent remark of a friend who had moved to the south coast.
